Even though this pretty much takes the first Good Nights & Bad Mornings mixtape and adds new songs to it, I’ll still include it in the countdown because I was late becoming a fan of Snow Tha Product, and didn’t include the original in last year’s countdown.  With electronic/house/dubstep/techno music becoming a popular trend in recent years, there have been many rappers trying to incorporate that type of production into their music and just being terrible (i.e. Flo Rida).  Only a handful of rappers have been able to actually pull it off without sounding corny, and Snow Tha Product is a prime example.  She flows well, her lyrics are clear, her hooks are well-written, and she has personality.

This mixtape is filled with good party-rap tracks that don’t sacrifice talent for flashiness, but still has a lot of flashy type of beats.  While many of these songs are simply about partying, drinking liquor and smoking weed, Snow rises above all the typical bullsh** club rappers with sharper rhymes and a more varied vocal delivery.  She can rap at any speed, in both English and Spanish, and can also sing good hooks.  She also has different types of songs on here too that are more topical, like “Dammit” and “F*** Your Phone” being about relationship issues, and “Hopeless” and “F*** The Rent” being about working hard to earn a living through her music.  Overall it’s a well-balanced mixtape and I think Snow Tha Product shows a lot of potential.
