Last year I got Great Mathias from The Mathias Doctrine (renamed Spinesthesia) and Wayne Maye from Wayne’s Hip Hop Blog to do a joint review of Nova Major’s mixtape Whatever It…[TAKES]. This time, Nova (now going by Otto Major)’s group OtherWise Known has released their debut album, After Hours. While Wayne couldn’t make it this time, I brought back Matt to do another tag-team review in our non-traditional conversation format.
OtherWise Known is a Canadian Hip-Hop duo made up of MCs Otto Major and Danny Knight. They handle most of their own production, with some additional production from ClockWork and Danitto Kruz on this album. While we hosted the initial mixtape review right here on SYpherSights, we’ve decided to take this album review over to The Mathias Doctrine. You can check out the review here, as Matt and I break down After Hours one track at a time.

If you want to listen to the album before reading the review, it can be played entirely on the OtherWise Known Youtube channel here. It will eventually be available for free download on Datpiff.com pending some technical issues. Check back here for an update with the download link.
UPDATE: Download the album for free here.
